Our remanfactured engines include engine elements such as the long block, the block casting with each necessary component including machining, crankshaft, connecting rods, new bearings (rod and main), pistons, rings, camshafts, and timing chain.
The engine also includes new cylinder heads, which themselves include head casting with all the required machining, brand-new valves, keepers, springs, and seals. Remanufactured engines feature updated rocker arms, pushrods, and lifters to complete the engine build.
The long block also arrives with a complete set of seals and gaskets as well as an updated oil pump.
Comprehensive Cleaning – Each engine's remanufacturing process begins by breaking it down to its core components, followed by a deep clean. Cast iron engines get a hot tank method, whereas aluminum engines are purified with a thermal cleaning technique.
In-depth Inspection – Utilizing the advanced Magnaflux method, magnetic particles are applied to reveal the tiniest imperfections or cracks in the metal, which could compromise the engine's longevity. A thorough visual check of each part is also conducted to ensure no detail is overlooked.
Refinement and Replacement – Utilizing the advanced Magnaflux method, magnetic particles are applied to reveal the tiniest imperfections or cracks in the metal, which could compromise the engine's longevity. A thorough visual check of each part is also conducted to ensure no detail is overlooked.
In-depth Inspection – The process continues with the precision CNC machining of the engine's deck surfaces, followed by the integration of brand-new, high-quality parts to ensure the engine’s durability and performance. The list of replacements includes bearings, pistons, rings, lifters, an oil pump, gaskets, Viton™ valve seals, freeze plugs, and galley plugs, complemented by a new timing chain or belt with tensioners. Engines equipped with a timing-driven water pump receive a new pump.
Quality Assurance via SIM Testing – After the engines are reassembled, they undergo a rigorous SIM testing phase. This critical step ensures the cooling and oil systems are fully operational under pressure and the crank can sustain high RPMs, confirming the engine's compression and overall assembly quality meet our exacting standards.
